Every advisor manages money.
Very few manage the emotions around it.
◆ ◆ ◆
Your gut says get out before the market falls, so you do. Then you watch it rise from the sidelines because maybe it will drop. That’s your emotions making a decision your logic never would. That's not a knowledge problem; smart people do it all the time.
Maybe that's not your story. Maybe you feel like you’re not saving enough, not helping others enough, not where you should be for your age. Money is emotional for everyone. That's the part almost no advisor is paying attention to.
That’s where I come in.
before it's technical
from someone who's lived it
for your peace of mind
F I N A N C E I S P E R S O N A L. S O A M I.
You want to protect everything you've worked for. You want to know your family is taken care of. You want to enjoy life along the way. I know how it feels to be uncertain about money, even when the numbers say everything is fine.
In my previous role, my work started before someone ever became a client. I'd analyze their current investments and pressure test them against their financial goals to see how it all fit together before presenting what I found. Once they came on board, I was their main point of contact for their plan and their investments, adjusting strategy as their life and the markets changed. I also served as portfolio manager, personally building and maintaining the investment models behind $125 million in client assets.
Over my career, I've advised hundreds of clients and dozens of business owners through hard markets and easy ones, including guiding retired clients through the COVID downturn while they depended on their portfolios for income. Now it's time to give a small number of people my full attention.

Most advisors manage hundreds of clients, chase performance, or sell products to get commissions. I do things differently.
-
I’m legally bound to act in your best interest, disclose conflicts, and recommend solutions based around your benefit, not mine. I have no sales quotas, no house products, no corporate agenda.
-
I step in to take as much off your plate as possible. From coordinating with your CPA, attorney, or other trusted people to filling out paperwork, you give me info and I take it from there so you can stay focused on life.
-
Whether it’s communicating with your current advisor, hard conversations with family, or anything else, I’m here to help or even have the conversation on your behalf.
-
My previous roles had me managing hundreds of clients. While all were well taken care of, days would get derailed. I built Ascendant to work differently. I keep my client list intentionally small, so you get undivided attention and direct access to me. And I'm selective about who I bring aboard, because that's what protects the level of service my clients count on.
-
I help you stay steady and confident when life, headlines, or markets cause unease. How you feel drives every decision you make which can impact your success. I help keep you on the right track.
Two ways to work together. Both get all of me.
